Introducing Twisted Horn’s New Flavors for February
It’s time for new flavors on tap here at Twisted Horn!
We have been working hard to give you new experiences with our honey wine and apple cider that will be celebrated from Himinbjörg to Valhalla! Or at least when you and your fellow travelers come and join us for a night of fantasy and adventure on our Wednesday D&D Nights.
As with all our drinks, please enjoy responsibly, and stay safe within our mead hall and when you return to your home after celebrating with us.
Helm Wrecker
This apple cider, or Apfelwein, uses pressed apples, raisins, and wildflower honey that is then aged in rye barrels. Typically, when we ferment the cider, it can get to about a 6% alcohol content.
Helm Wrecker, on the other hand, lives up to its name with a 16% ABV! This cider is sure to give you and your fellow travelers a good time with its flavors of apple, prune, spice, and just a hint of cacao, all served on a nitro glass.
Helm Wrecker Cider is $3.00 for a taster and $8.00 for an 8 oz. nitro glass. This is currently unavailable in a growler.
Adam’s Leaf
There’s no need to feel shy with this new cider flavor on tap.
This simple dry apple cider is made with pressed apples, figs, and cacao nibs, all aged in a stainless-steel barrel for one year to give it a 6.8% ABV you’re sure to love. Get one for yourself or to share in a growler!
Adam’s Leaf is $2.00 for a taster, $7.00 for a 12 oz glass, or $17.00 for a 32 oz. growler.
Hemispheres
This new flavor of mead is a tribute to the late Neal Peart, the drummer for Rush who tragically passed from glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer, on January 7, 2020.
To make that year just a little bit better for us, and eventually for you, we have created this mead. We have made this honey wine with Star Thistle honey (which gives it a slight flavor of almonds, sweet molasses, spicy cinnamon, and hints of prune), yellow peach, and huckleberry.
The flavor of this mead and its 9.5% ABV is perfect to accompany you and your comrades as you soar through space with Neal and the rest of Rush as they play Cygnus X-1 (combining Voyages and Hemispheres will create an experience like no other). The off-dry character of this drink gives off a lot of flavors with its deep lush body combined with the berry and stone fruit.
Hemispheres Mead — Melomel begins at $2.00 for a taster, $7.00 for an 8 oz., and $23.00 for a 32 oz. growler.

The mead hall opens at 4 PM Pacific every night. Bring your friends, fellow travelers, and adventurers to nights of good food, great drinks, fantastic music, and epic tales with our weekly D&D nights every Wednesday, concerts, or spoken word performances such as last month’s tale of Sir Gawain & the Green Knight!
